Burgess and Leigh Budgerigar Jug; 20cms. high, c. 1938.Made in a more conical shape compared to most of the Flower jugs. Decorated in a Blue colourway with one bird sitting in the handle and another flying towards it. Possibly made for the Australian market, these early pre-war models are quite rare. Guaranteed in excellent condition.

Burgess and Leigh Cricketer Handle jug; 19.5cms. high c.1935. The Cricketer jug which may have been modelled on Sir Don Bradman was the second sports handle jug in the series. Handpainted in traditional colours. A quite rare jug in excellent condition.

Burgess and Leigh jug 20cms. high c.1930. The Squirrel handle which in a Blue Lustre glaze was modelled by E. Bailey when an apprentice at the Burslem factory and is one of the first in the series in the 'Flower' jug range. The jug is in excellent condition.

Burgess and Leigh Leaping Gazelles Jug; 25cms. high, and with the early Beehive backstamp.Formed with an oval shape body and a triangular spout. Handpainted in a Green colourway. With a small firing miss on the Gazelle's hind quarter at the top the piece is in excellent condition.
