Sadler Teapots

Mallard Steam Train Teapot. c.1938, and 22cms. long.With RD no.826784 printed to base.Made by Wood and Sons at their Ellgreave pottery. Modelled on the Mallard steam train which from 1938 held the speed record for its' class. With some invisible restoration to the inner spout and age related crazing in the glaze the teapot and cover are in very good condition and a quite rare item.

James Sadler factory "Churchill" W.W.1. Tank Teapot and cover; 23cms. long, c.1930. In the very rare Pink colourway with full Silver trim. With Made in England impressed to base. With some minor ware to the trim at the spout, the teapot and cover are guaranteed in very good condition. An original and rare piece as so few were made in this colourway.

James Sadler; OKT42 Racing Car Teapot and lid; 23cms. long, c.1947. In the rare Teal Colourway with Full Silver trim. With Made in England Registered Number 820236 impressed and Black Crown Sadler backstamp. Guaranteed in excellent condition.

James Sadler, OKT42 Teapot and lid in the Black Colourway with full Silver trim; 23 cms long. With Made in England Registered Number 820236 impressed backstamp. While Henry Ford made his model "T" in any colour, as long as it was Black, the Sadler factory were the exact opposite and Black is by far the rarest. Guaranteed in excellent condition. James Sadler; OKT42 Racing Car Teapot and lid; 23cms. long. In the Dark Blue Colourway with Full Silver trim. With Made in England Registered Number 820236 impressed backstamp. With some ware to the trim on the drivers helmet the teapot is in excellent condition.

James Sadler; OKT42 Racing Car Teapot and lid; 23cms. long. With the Mabel Lucie Attwell decoration and Orange trim. With Made in England Registered Number 820236 impressed backstamp. With age related crazing in the Honey glaze and a tight hairline (see picture three) which is reflected in the price. The transfers are all bright colour and the teapot is in good condition and presents very well.

James Sadler Racing Car Teapot & lid 23cms. long c. 1947.In the Blue mottled colourway without Silver trim; the reason being at the end of WW 11. the metals needed such as nickel etc. were to difficult to obtain. Has Made in England Registered Number 820236 and Sadler crown backstamp. In good condition.

"Jam 42" Ivory with full Silver Trim Jam Pot and cover; 12cms. long. Made in the style of a towing caravan to match Sadlers' Racing Car OKT42 Teapots. Made by Beswick with Made In England and the model no. 577 impressed to base. There is some age related crazing in the glaze. Guaranteed in excellent condition, and a quite rare piece to find with full Silver trim.
